de-humidifier Bosch dry 2000 driven by Smart Controller II

Dear homies, 

here to ask your hint to let me pilot another Bosch product (Bosch Dry 2000) which is not directly supported by the Smart Home Controller II.

Requirement:

I would simply use my new Bosch de-humidifier (Bosch Dry 2000) when humidity in bathroom increases to a certain % value.

Current installed equipment:

-Bosch Smart controller II

-Bosch Dry 2000 as de-humidifier (without wifi connection) 

-Separate Heating system by methane boiler NOT connected with any Raumthermostat II   

Question:

Is there a generic and simple Matter humidity sensor connectable to Smart Home Controller II ?

Proposed solutions (to be evaluated)

a) Buy one new Matter Bosch compact plug and connect them with Bosch Dry humidifier on Smart Home controller II. And create a routine by monitoring the energy consumption only. 

(not the best technical solution)

b) Buy one new Matter Bosch compact plug + generic (non-Bosch) Matter humidity sensor and connect them Smart Home controller II. For creating a simple routine using detected humidity.

(cheaper solution if applicable)

c)Buy one new Matter Bosch compact plug +  Bosch Raumthermostat II and connect them Smart Home controller II. For creating a simple routine using detected humidity.

(expensive solution if applicable)

Please let me know your opinion on above proposed scenarios or suggest alternative ones.

Connecting non-Bosch devices to SHC is not possible. So technically this solution cannot be used.

 Buy one new Matter Bosch compact plug and connect them with Bosch Dry humidifier on Smart Home controller II. And create a routine by monitoring the energy consumption only.

This is probably the best solution as you can cover all your requirements.

Hi, 

I am using a dehumifyer from comfee with a smart plug and a humidy sensor from Bosch which is included in the room temperature device 2.

You can create automations to control the plug.

Since the dehumifyer is not smart, i set it on the lowest % which was possible (35%) to avoid that there are differences between the measures (dehumifyer and Bosch). 

But be aware, that it is not good for the lifetime of the dehumifyer to get a hardstop by just cutting the powerconnection.
