Heizthermostat 2 Funktionsstörung Fehlermeldung Eo5. Das zweite schon diesen Monat. Habe alles versucht, Batterie raus Batterie rein, neu konfiguriert. Letzte Meldungen Motor wahrscheinlich defekt. Was nun!!! Mit freundlichen Grüßen Peter Clever

Hi, 

I have the same issue with one of my thermostat (code E05 with a message in SH app) but it's now 3 years old so I think the warranty can't apply. I tried many things but seeing that I won those during a contest I don't have any invoice to open a support ticket. I did everything I could: changing the batteries, calibrating without plugging to the valve, but the motor seems to randomly block.

I just bought a new model. In fact the thermostat I got was won in a contest, 3 years ago, through the Alternate marketplace. Sadly I have no document for that, seeing it's not a purchase... The only thing I can give is the s/n. 

In Belgium the warranty is only applicable for 2y and I didn't have any extension (again, it was a prize won during a contest) 

After buying a new one I tried resetting the device and even removed the batteries for 2 days. Now when I put the batteries back, the motor is failing with another error code, as if it was stuck.

i have disassembled the unit like described here:

Then disassemble also until the gearbox.

turn the gear for the stem manually until the stem has moved some milimeters outwards.

Assemble everything again. E05 dissapeared and adoption process works again.
