Hi,
I have a 3 story house and I have radiator thermostat II upstairs. The problem is that the signal is very bad as the Smart Home unit controller is in the basement so the signal for the thermostats upstairs is very bad.
How can I improve the signal from the controller to the thermostats?

Most mains powered Zigbee devices extend the mesh network. You can e. g. place a Plug Compact or a compatible Ledvance lamp somewhere on a floor below the thermostats. Or multiple, if one is not sufficient.

Thank you. Does it work with a Philips Hue bulb?

No, Hue has its own Zigbee network, separate from the Bosch Zigbee network.

Ok. I bought 2 now.
Probably a stupid question, but does the switch need to be on for it to extend the signal?
Eg. If I have a lamp I plug into the plug and I want it to automatically turn off at night. Is the plug still extending the signal to the thermostats, when the lamp is off?

The Plug Compact does not need to be turned on. It extends the network as long as it is plugged in. The Zigbee radio is always active.
