Hi,
https://www.bosch-smarthome.com/uk/en/support/help/compatibility-controller/ (the diagram in it) says that the #Universal Switch II is compatibly with the Controler version 1 - it's inside the green frame, has a half-green circle around i
https://www.bosch-smarthome.com/uk/en/support/help/product-help/universal-switch-2-help/ says "The Bosch Smart Home switch II can only be used in combination with the Bosch Smart Home controller II.".
In definitive, what controler can use the universal switch II ?
I cannot make it work with my controler version 1.

@kukrapok All Gen II Devices (ZigBee) are compatible with SHC I and II.
Have you tryed to reset the switch correctly?

Thanks to both Christopher and Geomo for replying.
Hm just resetted it (followed the instructions on the video), but still get this error after scanning the QR code (or entering zigbee ID and install code manually), at the Add device step:
Error
It was not possible to access the network
The Universal Switch II devices flashes orange every 10 sec several times then red then off. According to the doc, it's: "Low battery or connection fault / Look for information in the Smart Home app. Contact the
service team if necessary.". Batteries are full, the SH app doesn't give a clue, here I am :-).
BTW, the controller get all other devices' status correctly, I presume that the error label is not really accurate when it says it cannot access the network - what network - just link to the device itself?

@kukrapok Please check the 3 number FD (production Date). If it’s below 437 it’s possibly a hardware error. Then you will need the original bill for the switch.

Interesting lead.. But where can I find this 3-digit FD? I can't find any 3-digit number anywhere among all the codes printed at the device back,.

Look for "A70" followed by a three digit number. Here it's 339:

A70-380 here!

Then contact support to get it replaced. It's defective.
