Hello,
on some forums are showed for Radiator Thermostat broken plastic holder pins in relativ short period.
Pictures of broken plastic
1. Exist any recommended theatment material for extend service life, please (e.g. material XYZ and use it every year before start of the heating season)?
2. What is the composition/labelling of the plastic? Then we can ask the chemistry engineer for other possible recommendation.
Thank you.

@misa15 this picture strongly looks like misused by heavy force from the sides.
I’ve checked one of our valves and can not find any material mark.
As the thermostat are used close to possible high temperatures it is maybe ABS. You can try to fix the parts with ABS glue. It’s maybe a sisyphus work, but I’ve fixed the mechanical parts of the keyboard of our combined microwave oven in this way.

I guess this only happens if you bump the thermostats. Mine are 6 years old and none of the mounts have broken so far. I only managed to break one of the buttons. My fault.
So don't mistreat them and this shouldn't happen. 😃
(Also, don't over-torque when mounting them!)
