- I try to set an automation for the thermostat to increase the temperature from preset 17 C during the night to 22 C after motion sensor is triggered but only for a period of time, an hour or so and then back to 17 C if no more motion is detected in the room. It is possible at all? I succeed only to the point that the trigger changes the temperature to 22 C, but is stays forever despite i have some function called timer activated in the setup.
You need to add a second action which reduces the temperature after an hour:
